The search cluster maintenance completed at 16:30 PST as scheduled. The cluster is up and fully functional with updated hardware.
Wednesday November 20, 2013 14:30 - 16:30 PST we will be adding additional hardware to our search cluster.
We expect a small time window of user impact.There will be a 10 minute period where new events will be delayed from being available in search.Followed by 12 minutes of search unavailability.Once search capabilities come back, delayed events will be ingested again into search.

Because of the previously announced incident, a small number of users may be receiving out of date search results. Engineers are working to resolve the issue.
Nov 7 23:24:06 UTC 2013 Hosted Chef users may have experienced brief unavailability of the Search API between 23:06 and 23:10. Engineers are monitoring the situation for further developments.
The Hosted Chef Scheduled Maintenance is now complete. The Hosted Chef API and Management Console should be operating normally.
The previously announced scheduled maintenance of Hosted Chef is ongoing. Current Hosted Chef API and Management Console interruptions are due to this maintenance. We are sorry for the inconvenience and are working to minimize the impact of this work.
